I was introduced to Gilbert during one of the most challenging times in my career. Six months later, I can look back on my journey with a deep sense of gratitude and pride for how far I’ve come.
The path I took wasn’t what I expected. I eventually made the difficult decision to leave my company after realising I was giving far more than I was receiving. It was draining my energy, impacting my health, and straining my relationships. I wasn’t happy — and hadn’t been for a long time. Since stepping away, I feel lighter and more content than I have in years. My relationship with my husband has healed in ways I didn’t even realise it needed to, because the business had consumed so much of my attention.
What got me through was learning to understand and value myself again. The profile Gilbert put together for me was incredibly accurate — I kept returning to it, checking if it had changed, only to realise it was me that was changing. It helped me recognise my strengths and see that my work environment wasn’t serving me. I had been trying to “fix” the situation but in hindsight, I can see it was deeply unhealthy. Gilbert helped me find a new path. His insights and gentle guidance were so helpful, and he shared with me an amazing set of tools that I now have in my toolbox! I’m still learning how to use all the tools but knowing they’re there and that he’s not far away when I need a reminder — is incredibly reassuring.
One thing he said that has really stayed with me is this: the work I’ve done over the past six months has helped me avoid future resentment. That really landed. I’ve stepped away from something that was no longer right for me and now I feel free and open to opportunities that simply couldn’t have come while I stayed stuck.

When we come across the words “life changing,” they often feel overused, easy to
read, but hard to feel in that deep, soul level way.
That is… until something shifts. Until you allow yourself to surrender, soften, and
truly embody the weight and wonder of those words.
Gilbert’s mentoring has been exactly that for me, life changing in every possible way.
This journey with Gilbert has taken me through the layers of my limiting beliefs,
guided me to uncover my deepest soul values, and shown me how those truths have

change. And now, every step I take is aligned, purposeful, and alive with meaning.
I’ve pivoted in ways I never thought possible. I’ve moved beyond what I believed I
could ever achieve. And yes, working with Gilbert, sometimes it was gentle,
sometimes it was tough love, but every moment was sacred. Because through it all,
Gilbert reminded me of my power, my grace, and my ability to walk this Earth with
courage and clarity.
He helped me face my shadows and held space for me to rise into my own light.
Now, I’m here. Home within myself. Walking in purpose. Living in truth. And
believing, fully, that I can create everything I desire, with grace in my heart, fire in my
soul, and wings wide open. And that has allowed me to finally start my own passion
business Awakened Soul.
